My Heart Shouts Fashion!

I remember it well when I was still young and playing paper dolls. It's NOT because of the dolls why I was playing them, it is because I loved the paper dresses my dolls were wearing and the fact that I was even making my own design. Obviously, I was a frustrated designer.. Along with the most frustrated designer, my sister. Hehe.

My mom knows how to sew. She has her own sewing machine and all that stuff. So when I had my sewing subjects back in my high-school era, she was the one who mentored me from the pattern to fabric. Being brought up in such an environment developed my sixth sense and everything became second nature to me. But time came that I had to choose whether should I continue the intuition or follow the beat of my heart which was engineering. I took the latter and no regrets until now. But designing is still and all in my system and to give the system satisfaction, I buy clothes. Ton of clothes plus shoes to match. Hee hee. But still not satisfied. I'm still looking forward to that day that I can see and wear my own figment of imagination.

They said, if fashion or designing is really in one person, s/he needs not
to go to fashion school because it will come out naturally. I agree on that but I also believe that if a person wants to become something big in the fashion industry, a very competitive and hard to get into industry, that person must have a good fashion school background. New York is the place in terms of the career path for people choosing fashion design. So if you are are planning or looking for fashion school in New York, Fashion Schools New York Finder can help you. They features many of New York Fashion schools you can choose from plus they lead those people looking for the right education to begin a new career. I do not have any plans right now of going to fashion school or New York but who knows, when time comes and permits.

I Drove 7 Miles -- Yheeyy!

Yesterday, hubby was home from the field for 24hours. We had to do some errands at Fort Carson and asked him if I can drive down there. At first, he was shilly-shally to say "YES", maybe he was imagining me going on the rampage and running loads of people over and that thought scared him. But I was really persistent and he had no choice but to just give what I want. This is one of those days that I am not scared to drive so I took the chance. But there were times that even I am not nervous to drive, I still made lots of mess and we, (husband and I) just ended up piss on each other because he yelled at me while driving and I really really hate it! That's what I've told my husband, to not to run his mouth while I'm driving because that makes me out of focus. HALLER!?! He's expecting me to drive good with the fact that I do not know anything about driving. He always seems impatient every time he teaches me how to and swear, he already made me cry because of this driving issue. It just made me laugh every time I remember my mistakes and how he yells. Anyways, driving from our home to Ft. Carson is like 15-20minutes drive and 7miles away. Hubby gave lots of reminder after he said yes.. Was pretty good folks - I WAS GOOD Just need to control my anger on the road now and try not to hurt or blame pedestrians for my mistakes. Heehe. Also, this is the first time my husband compliment my driving, especially my "U-turning" . The only problem he said I made was m little scared of gas. Hehe. I run 40mph wherein speed limit is 55mph.. One car behind us blown his horn because I was driving too slow.. Hehe. Need more practice too parking the car with another car parked besides. Tout ensemble, I did good. I was happy yesterday and so my husband.. Way to go! We'll try to drive from Colorado Springs to Denver next week. Good luck on highway! Heheh..

Pay Per Post -- What took it so long?

It's now my turn to blog about PayPerPost.. I admittedly couldn't count how many times I submitted my blog to PPP and how many times they rejected it for one reason or another. I was not excited when I saw this afternoon that I got mail from PPP; because of the thought that it was just another refusal notice. But truly, everything has an ending, they finally accepted my blog. This is my first time to do business with them so let's see how it works for me. Well, am starting to think of things I can buy from extra earning from PPP and one that tops the list is the Salvatore Ferragamo men shoes for my husband.. Hehe. Oh, I can finally buy him something from my own pocket. Anyways, writing a blog or writing something about something is not easy. Especially if you suck in writing. It takes time and effort. But if you love what you do, like writing about various things, it's too easy to make money with PayPerPost. PPP helps you get started too with their blog ethics page and there, get paid to blog just by sharing your interest. PayPerPost is an automated system that coalesce advertisers with bloggers as a means for boosting viral buzz. Advertisers use PPP to increase cognizance of their company, product, service and website. While bloggers earn money for writing post linking to advertisers' website. If you haven't checked out the site yet, it would not hurt to do so and make extra income through blogging.

You & I -- Another Melancholic Blog

I was watching this one Philippines' soap opera called "Maging Sino Ka Man"; and they played a song that's really catchy and thought to blog about the song. I, sometimes, thought why is it that I'm so affected by music. Hee! Being in-love is easy, but staying there is hard.. You know what I mean, love doesn't always make us happy; sometimes, love prevents us from being happy. Like when God just gives something inevitable and you left no choice but to let it go.. But to let go is to let God. YOU AND I You and I We're gonna fly across the sky Higher than high Just You and I You and I We're gonna sail across the sea Free as the breeze Just You and me You and I Floatin' our boat Leavin' a smoke Slowin' our boat Just lettin' it soak You and I think Song that I sing Ringin' a bell Livin' like heaven... heaven You and I We're gonna groove, make our move Let it lay back Stayin' our track You and I Livin' this life Crying our cry And saying goodbye With tears in our eyes You and I Floatin' our boat Leavin' a smoke Slowin' our boat Just ready to soak You and I think Song that I sing Ringin' our bell Living like heaven... heaven You and I We're gonna fly across the sky Higher than high... Just You and I

Buffet Tables

Honestly, we need to buy a buffet table. Last Saturday, hubby and I decided to shop for a new buffet table because our hallway (in the living room going to the kitchen) looks empty. We've been to 4 furniture stores over the past couple of weeks and I have yet to find any tasteful buffet table. One friend suggested to look via internet, she said that buffet furnitures are not always available in furniture store and I remembered one buffet store that one friend mentioned. The eBuffet.com. eBuffet is one of the nation's leading source for buffets online. They offer a vast selection of high-quality buffet tables, buffet cabinets, side boards and among other buffet furniture. Each item is masterly designed and crafted and you can even find discount buffet furniture. It is always good to put adorned masterpieces in the living room and finding a cheap but high-quality buffet aint that easy. Try eBuffet.com, you might find one that suits your budget.
